About the role

Reports to the Leasing Manager with specific responsibilities for the leasing, marketing and lease management activities of The Star Vista.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Leasing Manager in retail planning which includes trade/tenant mix review and planning
• Propose, source and secure suitable tenants that fit into the desired tenant mix of the mall, including active cold callings, site viewings and negotiation on new leases and renewals
• Preparation and tracking of lease documentation and marketing kits
• Operate various systems and tools in tenant sales and lease performance monitoring, rental analysis and forecasting, management reporting
• Assist in market research and analysis of trends, data and preparation of reports to monitor/determine/validate performance of the mall and/or competitors
• Establish and maintain good landlord-tenant relationships
• Engage and maintain good relationships with prospective tenants and real estate consultants and associations
• Monitor rental payments to ensure timely settlement by tenants and initiate necessary action to recover any arrears
• Handle and follow up with tenants and vendor on the monthly GTO sales via portal and POS system
• Support feasibility studies and formulation of new innovative retail formats and curated concepts

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in shopping mall
• Proven track record in retail leasing with good network of tenants and contacts
• Good written and spoken communication skills, with strong negotiation and numeracy skills
• Computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft software such as Excel and PowerPoint
• Meticulous, ability to multi-task and work within tight timeline
• Positive disposition, independent, resourceful and a team player
