Executive - Logistics

Basic Function:

Prepares documentation related to import & export process, deliveries and material movement process and customs duty exemptions.

Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Completing and filing compliance documentation for export and supply chain security.
• Sending shipment instructions to forwarders, checking of B/L draft.
• Maintains tracking record and following up on order status, updating and establishing shipping information in close contact with Forwarders/Shippers.
• Ensures the timely and accurate reporting to management regarding logistics related activities.
• Responsible for checking, monitoring and execution of shipments to all destinations from planning, material loading, to timely dispatching of shipping documents to end clients.
• Responsible for all export shipments. The process starts after placing an order and ending up with the goods clearance. Communicating to branch offices and supplies on damaged goods including discrepancies in shipping documents against the order.
• Interact with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems and processes, such as marketing, sales, accounting, and purchase and enables the timely delivery of goods from the suppliers.
• Responsible for business communication and strategic interaction with a spectrum of clients that enables to get timely approvals on Draft Bill of Lading & other related shipping documents.

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree

Required Experience:

• Min. 3 years of experience as logistics coordinator
• Import/export documentation
• Freight handling and shipping incoterms

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,300.00 per month
