Executive, Logistics (LSCM)

About the role

Reporting to the Manager, LSCM, this incumbent will play an important role in managing the LSCM Department's operations in promoting efficient sales support, as well as coordinating cross-functional task within BSTM and with Regional Head Office.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and Monitor Shipment Status/ Update Shipment Database:

  · Coordinate and manage logistics and shipping by liaising with BSCAP. MSK and 3PLs

  ·        Process (check and verify) all shipping documents for clearance. Ensure accuracy and completeness.

  ·        Monitor stock in-transit and maintain accurate shipment tracking database

  ·        Prepare shipment monitoring report

  ·        Upload goods receipt into internal system and inform Finance and CS

  ·        Ensure internal stakeholders (CS and sales) are updated regularly on incoming shipment status

  ·        Ensure compliance with all federal guidelines and group regulations, customs, and all other related government departments for import/export activities

  Service Carriers/ Transporters

  ·        Process domestics shipments (local and outstation) by verifying destination, route, rates, delivery times, documentation and dispatching to ensure accuracy of rates and charges

  ·        Maintain accurate cost data for data analysis. Support negotiation of road transport pricing

  ·        Monitor and review KPIs for service providers according to SLAs

  ·        Analysis and evaluation on carriers to ensure cost optimization and effectiveness of function

  Inventory Management

  ·        Liaise with 3PL to ensure accurate inventory, good inventory control and management

  ·        Responsible for preparation of YOP stock report and stock reconciliation

  ·        Coordinate with technical team and 3PLs regarding damages stock and scrap activities

  Direct Indent Shipment

  ·        Monitor importation for wholesaler direct shipment and notify CS once clearance is completed

  Team Development

  • Monitor and review the progress of team development and ability in resolving operational issues.
  • Drive the corporate values & culture program to build organization culture.

  Others

  ·        Any task and assignment given by superior as and when required.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service or equivalent professional qualification
• 4 years of relevant working experience in the relevant industry, of which at least 3 years are in an equivalent position
• Proven track record in achieving profitability and company targets
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and motivational skills along with logical thinking and good analytical abilities
• Good analytical abilities, communication skills (written and interpersonal), with planning and management skills with customer-oriented thinking standpoints
• Resilient, positive and ability to manage stress
• Logistics, Procurement & Customer Service related work experiences in automotive Industry would have added advantage
