Compensation: 2.40 to 3.60 LPA (Commensurate with experience and last salary drawn)
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English,Hindi and Bengali.
Position Summary
The Executive MIS & MEL will provide operational support for data collection,
MIS database maintenance, and routine program reporting across SwitchON Foundations
initiatives. Working under the guidance of senior team members, this role involves assisting
field teams with digital data collection, performing basic data cleaning, and ensuring timely
data entry into organizational dashboards.
This is an entry-level position ideal for a detail-oriented candidate looking to build a career in
data management, monitoring, and impact evaluation within the development sector.
Key Responsibilities

1. MIS Maintenance & Data Entry
   Support the day-to-day updating and maintenance of program databases, trackers, and
   MIS sheets.
   Assist field staff in entering quantitative and qualitative data accurately into digital
   formats.
   Maintain organized records of program files, participant lists, and monitoring records.
2. Data Quality Checks & Field Verification
   Conduct initial data cleaning to identify missing values, duplicate entries, and simple
   errors.
   Follow up with field teams to resolve basic data discrepancies and missing
   information.

Conduct occasional field visits across West Bengal to cross-check reported data
against physical records.
3. Reporting & Basic Data Summaries
Assist in preparing weekly and monthly routine data summaries, tables, and basic
charts.
Help prepare data inputs for donor reports, program reviews, and team meetings.
Support the team with basic ad-hoc data requests as needed.
4. Field Support & Digital Tools
Assist field staff with digital data collection tools (e.g., Kobo Toolbox, Google
Forms).
Participate in program monitoring visits and help organize documentation for
baseline/endline surveys.
Educational Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information
Technology, Commerce, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Experience: 12 years of hands-on experience in data entry, basic MIS management,
or program coordination.
Technical & Core Skills
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets (sorting, filtering, basic
formulas like SUM, AVERAGE, VLOOKUP, and data entry formats).
Basic familiarity with digital survey forms (Google Forms, Kobo Toolbox).
High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to follow instructions under
tight timelines.
Reporting & Administrative Details
Reporting To: Senior Executive / MEL Manager
Travel Requirements: Occasional field travel across project locations in West Bengal for
data collection and verification. (Official travel, stay, and logistics will be reimbursed as per
organizational policy.)
Compensation
Annual CTC: Rs 2.40-3.50 Lakhs per annum
