Executive, Operation-Marine

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit discharge and loading figures (bay plan & profile) to the port based on central planner’s approval.

• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of all operational data to relevant parties.

• Coordinate vessel husbandry services including provision supply and other related operational activities.

• Arrange and monitor freshwater supply for company-owned vessels.

• Liaise with relevant service providers to ensure smooth vessel turnaround.

• Serve as the communication point between the terminal and central planner for ship planning matters.

• Ensure planning instructions are followed and updated promptly.

• Collect and monitor cargo booking forecasts from member lines.

• Consolidate and send forecasts to the central planner for company-owned vessels.

• Highlight significant variances or potential operational impacts.

• Monitor vessel arrival schedules and update the terminal and vessel master on berth availability and changes.

• Ensure timely communication to minimize operational delays.

• Coordinate EBP EDI files to and from the terminal for company-owned vessels.

• Ensure accuracy and timely submission to support efficient terminal operations.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in operations within the shipping/marine industry.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Flexible to handle operational issues beyond regular hours and during holidays.
• Experience in terminal, vessel, or depot operations is an advantage.
