Executive, Operation (Penang Branch)

We are seeking an Executive, Operation (Penang Branch) to join MSIG Insurance (Malaysia) Bhd in our Penang office. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our branch. As an Operations Executive, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our branch delivers excellent service to our customers whilst maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. This role is critical to the branch's success and directly contributes to our broader commitment to providing outstanding insurance solutions across Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Senior Executive in managing daily underwriting operations.
• Provide underwriting support and ensure compliance with company guidelines and underwriting standards.
• Process policies, endorsements, renewals, and related documentation within service benchmarks.
• Support business development activities and provide professional service to customers and business partners.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, credit control procedures, AML requirements, and Cash-Before-Cover regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, including e-filing and system updates.
• Assist in training junior staff and provide technical support when required.
• Undertake additional tasks and projects assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Insurance, Business Studies, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience, preferably in insurance operations or underwriting.
• Good knowledge of insurance practices and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and insurance-related systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
