Executive Operations & Business Development

About the role

This role evolves into a more proactive business-facing position once the foundation is established. You will manage internal operational processes, support underwriting and claims administration, monitor credit control, and ensure compliance with LFSA standards. You will liaise with the broker network and producers, arrange introductory meetings with LFSA-licensed brokers and general (re)insurers, assist in marketing initiatives, identify new business prospecting opportunities, and support the development and monitoring of insurance schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage internal operational processes to ensure seamless workflow
• Provide support for underwriting and claims administration
• Monitor credit control and ensure compliance with LFSA standards
• Liaise with the existing broker network and producers to maintain and further develop professional relationships
• Arrange and participate in introductory meetings with LFSA-licensed brokers and general (re)insurers
• Assist in marketing initiatives and identify new business prospecting opportunities
• Assist in the development and monitoring of insurance schemes

About you

• Fresh graduate or professional with 1–3years experience is highly recommendation to apply.
• Degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
• 1-2 years of experience in a reinsurance environment (priority consideration).
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Proficiency in Chinese speaking and/or Cantonese for regional market engagement.
• Ability to digest technical insurance lectures and apply them to real-world scenarios.
• Natural ability to network and build rapport with brokers and industry partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Advanced, PowerPoint).
