Our multidisciplinary teams collaborate across engineering, software, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations to solve complex challenges and deliver next-generation capabilities for our customers. We are driven by innovation, technical excellence, and a commitment to advancing the future of autonomous aerospace systems.
The Opportunity
KRUSH Tech is seeking an Executive Operations & Protocol Manager to anchor our presence in the Washington, DC area. This role is the operational backbone for KRUSH Tech's engagement with the defense community. It owns events, trade shows, test-event logistics, and executive travel, and serves as the trusted point of contact for our founders whenever they're in DC.
This is a high-trust role for someone who has supported senior leaders in demanding environments and knows how to make complex days run without friction. You'll operate independently, anticipate needs before they're raised, and represent KRUSH Tech with polish in front of military, government, and industry stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Plan and execute KRUSH Tech's presence at defense trade shows, industry days, and customer events end to end (e.g., AUSA, Modern Day Marine, SOF Week).
- Coordinate travel and on-site logistics for testing and demonstration events in partnership with engineering and program teams.
- Serve as executive support to the founders during DC visits, including scheduling, meeting preparation, ground transportation, and real-time problem solving.
- Manage meeting logistics with DoD and government stakeholders, including visit requests, building and installation access, and protocol considerations.
- Build and maintain a calendar of DC-area events, engagements, and key stakeholder touchpoints.
- Own vendor relationships, budgets, and post-event follow-up for events and travel.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years supporting senior executives or general/flag officers in a fast-paced environment (e.g., Aide-de-Camp, Executive Officer, Protocol Officer, or Executive Assistant).
- Experience working in or alongside the Department of Defense
- Proven event and trade show management experience, including logistics, vendors, and budgets.
- Strong judgment, discretion, and composure when handling confidential information and shifting priorities.
- Ability to travel regularly, including to test sites and trade shows.
At this time, KRUSH Tech is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer-sponsored visa support, now or in the future.
Due to U.S. Government export control regulations, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or otherwise eligible to access export-controlled information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active or recently held U.S. security clearance.
- Familiarity with Pentagon and military installation access processes, and with military protocol and etiquette.
- Experience exhibiting at defense trade shows, including booth build, shipping, and demo logistics.
- Established network within the DC defense community.
Why Join KRUSH Tech?
Be the face of KRUSH Tech in Washington, DC, at the center of our defense engagement.
Work directly with company founders and senior leadership on high-visibility events and engagements.
Help bring cutting-edge autonomous aerospace and defense technologies to the people who use them.
Grow your career in a fast-paced, innovative, and mission-driven environment.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and virtually.
- Ability to travel regularly (approximately 30–40%), including to outdoor test sites, trade shows, and customer locations.
- Ability to stand and move through trade show and test environments for extended periods.
