Executive - Product Development

Purpose:

To design a product that delights customer perception whilst integrating the company’s strategic goals through the use of updated technical knowledge and appropriate resources, lead SOPs and draft specifications for error-free manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for customer collaboration through coordinating with customers regularly to understand requirements and deliver high-quality samples on time.
• Responsible for Technical capabilities through Plant right first-time improvements fasteners improvements, special finishing techniques implementation overall technical capability improvements.
• Responsible for Market & Trend Analysis through analyzing market conditions to identify trends and develop new concepts.
• Responsible for Cross-Functional Coordination through Liaising with the supply chain team for raw material availability and with sales and marketing teams to ensure product alignment with client requirements.
• Responsible for Research & Development through Researching and developing new yarn dyeing techniques, patterns, and color options in line with market and customer expectations.
• Responsible for Supplier & Process Management through Setting testing standards with suppliers and guiding them through development and bulk processes in a timely and compliant manner.
• Responsible for Production Support through Collaborating with and supporting production teams to ensure smooth product transition from development to bulk production.
• Responsible for Customer Relationship Management through Meeting customers regularly to update on commercialized quality challenges, monthly projections, and feedback on failures.
• Responsible for Performing additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.

Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Qualifications:

• Degree in Textile Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.

Professional Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in the industry
• Passion and updated knowledge on emerging fashion/market trends, consumer behavior and ability to convert findings to the product
