Executive Production

Role & responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Ayurvedic production and manufacturing activities as per the production plan.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within the defined timelines and quality parameters.
• Execute manufacturing activities as per approved BMR/BPR, SOPs and GMP guidelines.
• Supervise and monitor shop-floor activities, manpower and production processes.
• Ensure proper documentation and completion of batch manufacturing records.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, Engineering and Planning teams.
• Ensure line clearance, area clearance and equipment readiness before production.
• Monitor batch yields, process parameters and material utilization.
• Identify and report deviations, process abnormalities and production-related issues.
• Support investigation and implementation of CAPA in coordination with QA.
• Maintain production area hygiene, housekeeping and safety standards.
• Ensure proper operation and cleaning of production equipment.
• Train and guide operators and junior production staff.
• Support internal and regulatory audits.
• Drive productivity, process improvement and reduction of production wastage.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Pharm (Ayurveda) Mandatory.
• 26 years of experience in Ayurvedic / Herbal / Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of GMP, SOPs, BMR/BPR and production documentation.
• Hands-on experience in production/shop-floor operations.
• Good knowledge of Ayurvedic manufacturing processes and practices.
• Good communication, coordination and team-handling skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts as per plant requirements.
• Candidates with experience in an Ayurvedic manufacturing plant will be preferred.
