Executive, Production Engineering

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, planning, and preparation activities for new model introduction.
• Plan and coordinate production assembly line activities for new models and cosmetic changes.
• Plan and coordinate continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives for existing equipment and assembly lines.
• Coordinate construction and installation activities related to new assembly lines.
• Prepare project proposals, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and purchase requisitions for new projects and Kaizen activities.
• Support the introduction and implementation of new assembly equipment, tools, gauges, and jigs.
• Plan requirements and coordinate fitment test activities for local parts.
• Monitor and maintain local parts lists for new and upgraded models.
• Manage and follow up on Assembly Problem Reports to ensure timely resolution.
• Plan and coordinate the verification of consumable usage, including direct and indirect materials.
• Support the introduction and implementation of new systems or working methods for CKD logistics and the Local Parts Shop.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant working experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing operations, production processes, and assembly line activities.
• Knowledge of Kaizen and continuous improvement practices would be an added advantage.
