Summary
This is a rare opportunity for an early-career professional to work directly alongside the President and executive team of a growing, successful group of businesses spanning district energy, building services, and energy infrastructure development. You will see how strategy is set, how decisions get made, and how initiatives move from idea to execution across multiple companies.
The Executive Project Manager is the communication and collaboration hub for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives. You will help the President shape strategy and operational improvement opportunities, translate priorities into clear plans for the executive team, and keep implementation on schedule. The role demands strict confidentiality, a strong work ethic, and exceptional organization and communication.
Key responsibilities
Strategy and operations support
- Work with the President to research, frame, and evaluate strategic and operational opportunities, including growth initiatives, process improvements, and new ventures.
- Prepare briefing materials, analyses, decision memos, and presentations for the President and executive team.
- Help turn high-level direction into defined initiatives with clear scope, goals, owners, and success measures.
Communication and collaboration hub
- Communicate prioritized initiatives clearly and consistently to the executive team and relevant managers across the companies.
- Serve as the central point of coordination between the President, executives, and initiative teams, keeping information flowing in both directions.
- Facilitate leadership and initiative meetings: set agendas, capture decisions and action items, and follow through on commitments.
- Identify cross-company dependencies and connect the right people to resolve them.
Initiative planning and implementation tracking
- Build and maintain implementation schedules, milestone plans, and a portfolio view of all active strategic initiatives.
- Track progress, flag risks and slippage early, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide regular status reporting to the President and executive team.
- Maintain organized documentation of initiative plans, decisions, and outcomes.
Confidentiality and judgment
- Handle sensitive business, financial, personnel, and strategic information with complete discretion.
- Represent the President's office professionally with internal teams and, as appropriate, external partners.

- Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to present to senior leaders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and project scheduling tools.
