Executive, Project Operational & Technical Support

Job Summary

Assist in monitoring projects and activities undertaken with the industry partners and relevant stakeholders in emerging communications technologies within assigned domains, including Fixed, Mobile and Soft Technology to ensure effective implementation, compliance with governance requirements, and support for innovation and growth in line with the national policy objectives of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.

Job Responsibilities

1. Track project progress against milestones, budget, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
2. Manage the vendor to ensure delivery of the contract.
3. Monitor and review the reports by vendors to ensure they are in line with the timeline and deliverables of projects
4. Identify and resolve issues, conflicts, and bottlenecks promptly not to delay projects
5. Manage relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and internal teams.
6. Monitor potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement mitigation plans to avoid delay
7. Facilitate stakeholder meetings, ensuring expectations are well managed.
8. Communicate project updates, risks, and decisions clearly and effectively so remedial actions can be taken effectively.
9. Monitor the budget utilisation that would be in line with contract obligations and avoid a budget burst.
10. Review invoices submitted as per the deliverables and manage the financial releases

Qualifications & Work Experience

1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronic /Telecommunication / Computer Engineering or any equivalent from a recognised university with a CGPA of 3.00 and above
2. 1 - 3 years of relevant working experience in the communications & multimedia industry
3. Clear understanding of the regulatory framework under the CMA 1998 and its subsidiary legislation.
4. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
5. Good report writing and communication skills.
6. Good public presentation skills.
