Accountable for preparing timely cost reports, variance analysis, forecast updates, overrun alerts, recovery recommendations, and management reporting in alignment with project schedules, milestones, risks, and delivery priorities.
6) Value Engineering and Commercial Risk Management
Facilitate value engineering with Project Engineers, designers, content teams, technical specialists, fabricators, contractors, and suppliers to identify alternative materials, systems, technologies, methods, packaging, or phasing that improve whole-life value without compromising safety, functionality, maintainability, quality, accessibility, operational readiness, or the intended visitor and learning experience. Identify and mitigate cost, contractual, market, supply-chain, and scope risks through appropriate allowances, contingencies, and commercial strategies.
7) Stakeholder Collaboration, Governance and Continuous Improvement
Act as the commercial focal point for project cost, contract, procurement, valuation, and financial control matters across planning, design, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning, handover, defects management, and close-out. Accountable for maintaining transparent records, upholding applicable PETRONAS and Petrosains procedures, Limits of Authority, COBE, HSE, statutory, and contractual requirements, and strengthening Project Delivery’s commercial capability through standardized templates, cost databases, lessons learned, and good practices.
