Executive Protection Agent

Defense Strategies Group is a security and defense training company based in Los Angeles, CA. We are comprised of former Special Operations Combat Veterans, Law Enforcement, and highly trained security professionals.

The experienced Executive Protection Agent will provide discreet, professional protection for a private family in Napa Valley. Agents will support the family’s safety at their residence, during daily activities, and while traveling as assigned. The ideal candidate has a military or law enforcement background, strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a private household. This role requires professionalism, confidentiality, and a calm, respectful presence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide executive protection for family members at their residence and during off-site activities.

· Maintain awareness of potential threats, suspicious activity, and changing security conditions.

· Conduct residential security checks and patrols, including overnight coverage.

· Monitor access to the property and verify visitors, vendors, and deliveries according to established procedures.

· Conduct advance planning for appointments, outings, events, and travel as assigned.

· Coordinate safe transportation and provide protective driving when required.

· Respond appropriately to emergencies, security incidents, and medical situations within the scope of training.

· Communicate with fellow agents, DSG leadership, and household personnel to maintain coordinated coverage.

· Complete accurate incident reports, activity logs, and shift handoffs.

· Maintain readiness of assigned security equipment and vehicles.

· Respect household routines, personal boundaries, and the family’s privacy.

· Safeguard confidential information concerning the family, residence, schedules, and security procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Prior military or law enforcement experience required.

· Previous executive protection experience strongly preferred, particularly with private families or residential details.

· Possess and maintain a valid California BSIS Guard Card and any additional credentials required for assigned duties.

· For armed assignments, possess and maintain the applicable firearms permit and concealed carry authorization.

· Valid driver’s license and a driving record suitable for assigned driving responsibilities.

· Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, or ability to obtain before assignment.

· Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.

· Ability to assess situations quickly and respond with sound judgment and appropriate restraint.

· Demonstrated reliability, integrity, discretion, and professional conduct.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a coordinated protection team.

· Ability to satisfy applicable background screening and credential verification requirements.

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
