Job Title: Purchase Executive

Location: Thennampalayam-Coimbatore

Qualification: BE/DME-Mech/IE/Prod-Only

Skill Set:

Experience: 3 years of hands-on purchasing, vendor development, or material planning experience in a pump, motor, or heavy engineering manufacturing plant.

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in ERP software (SAP MM preferred) and MS Office (specifically Excel for data analysis and trackers).
• Understanding of engineering drawings, pump/motor components, and bill of materials (BOM).
• Procure raw materials, pump components (castings, impellers, shafts, mechanical seals), electrical stampings, copper wire, and hardware items.
• Track open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and avoid production line stoppages.
• Negotiate prices, credit terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards with existing suppliers.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard alternate vendors for critical machined bought-outs and raw materials to mitigate supply risk.
• Conduct periodic vendor performance evaluations (Cost, Quality, Delivery - QCD).
• Coordinate with store/warehouse teams on material inward, GRN (Goods Receipt Note) clearance, and reconciliation of rejected/non-conforming material with vendors.
• Work closely with the production and planning teams to align material availability with monthly/weekly manufacturing targets.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier quotations, price comparative statements, and delivery challans.
• Operate and update ERP/SAP systems (e.g., SAP MM module or local ERP) for inventory and purchase entries

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
