Executive - Quality Assurance (QA)

Key Responsibilities

1. Batch Approval and Quality Control

• Review and approve production batches based on specifications, test results and quality standards.
• Monitor product quality to ensure consistency between batches.
• Investigate quality issues, abnormal results or repeated production problems.

2. Customer Complaint Handling

• Handle customer complaints professionally and quickly.
• Understand customer needs, product applications and performance concerns.
• Work with related departments to identify the root cause of complaints.
• Prepare investigation reports, corrective actions and preventive actions.

3. Continuous Improvement

• Identify ways to improve QA operations, testing methods, reports, documentation and workflows.
• Work with Production, R&D, Sales, Technical Service, Warehouse and Purchasing to solve quality issues.

4. AI and Digitalization

• Support the company’s move toward AI, automation and digitalization.
• Help digitalize QA records, quality data, complaint tracking, batch approval and reporting.
• Use data analysis tools to monitor quality trends and improve QA processes.

5. Teamwork and Leadership

• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Guide and support QA/QC team members in daily tasks.
• Coordinate with other departments to achieve quality objectives.

Required Competencies

• Basic science knowledge preferably in Chemistry, Applied Science, Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemical Engineering or related fields.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, independent and able to work with different departments.
• Able to understand technical data, lab test results, production conditions and customer requirements.
• Able to make sound quality decisions and recommend product or process improvements.
• Able to lead root cause investigations and drive preventive actions.
• Basic knowledge or strong interest in digitalization, AI tools, data analysis and process improvement is an advantage.
