Job Title: Executive - GRCS Internal Audit (Real Estate Projects)

Qualification: CA / Semi-Qualified CA

Experience: 0-3 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join the GRCS Internal Audit team. The role will primarily focus on conducting internal audits, risk assessments, and process reviews for real estate projects, ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute internal audit assignments across real estate projects and related business processes.
• Review project costs, contracts, procurement processes, and project governance frameworks.
• Identify control gaps, operational inefficiencies, and areas of financial or compliance risk.
• Perform testing of internal controls and evaluate adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Assist in risk assessments and preparation of audit plans.
• Draft audit observations, reports, and recommendations for process improvements.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and closure of action points.
• Conduct data analysis and review financial records to identify exceptions and potential risks.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders for information gathering and audit discussions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, accounting, and organizational requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Understanding of Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Internal Controls.
• Knowledge of real estate project lifecycle, project accounting, and construction-related processes will be preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently.

Preferred Profile

• CA Fresher / Semi-Qualified CA with relevant articleship or internship exposure in Internal Audit, Risk Advisory, Assurance, or Real Estate sector.
• Exposure to construction, infrastructure, or real estate projects would be an added advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management and attention to detail.
