Executive, Revenue Management & Analytics

Job Summary

The Executive, Revenue Management & Analytics is responsible for supporting the Hospital's revenue management function through revenue analytics, charge code administration, pricing and package management, business intelligence, and revenue assurance. The role ensures the accuracy of revenue-related master data and system configurations while providing timely reporting and analytical support to drive operational efficiency and revenue optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Analytics & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue, census, and management reports.
• Analyse revenue trends, operational performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and maintain dashboards and business intelligence reports.
• Support revenue forecasting and management reporting.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting.

Revenue Operations

• Coordinate the creation and maintenance of hospital charge codes, tariffs, pricing, and revenue-related master data.
• Administer hospital service packages, package pricing, and system configurations.
• Review and validate requests for new charge codes, pricing updates, and package setup.
• Ensure approved pricing, packages, and charge codes are accurately configured in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
• Coordinate bulk updates for pricing, charge codes, and package information.
• Maintain revenue-related master data and ensure compliance with established governance and approval processes.

Revenue Assurance

• Monitor charging accuracy and identify potential revenue leakage.
• Support billing integrity reviews and revenue assurance activities.
• Review package utilisation, pricing accuracy, and charging compliance.
• Coordinate corrective actions for revenue-related system issues.

Business Intelligence & System Support

• Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and operational reports.
• Perform data extraction, validation, analysis, and report automation.
• Coordinate with ICT and relevant departments on system enhancements, testing, and implementation.
• Maintain documentation relating to revenue master data, system configurations, and reporting processes.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve revenue-related processes and operational efficiency.
• Participate in digital transformation and automation initiatives.
• Assist in developing and maintaining departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Support cross-functional projects related to revenue management and business process improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Health Information Management, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in healthcare revenue management, business intelligence, finance operations, data analytics, hospital operations, or Hospital Information Systems (HIS).

• Strong background in revenue management, data analytics, and healthcare information systems, with expertise in Excel, Power BI, and data reporting.

• Skilled in revenue analytics, pricing administration, charge code management, and master data maintenance, with proficiency in business intelligence and advanced Excel.

• Analytical and detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and driving continuous improvement.

• Experienced in leveraging data to support revenue optimization and operational efficiency through reporting, business intelligence, and healthcare systems.

• Proactive and adaptable professional with expertise in data analysis, revenue operations, and cross-functional collaboration, with SQL knowledge as an added advantage.
