Executive, Security

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Security Manager in managing daily security operations and ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, tenants, property and assets.
• Supervise and monitor the performance, discipline and conduct of the Security Team and security service providers.
• Monitor and maintain security systems including CCTV, access control, alarms and related equipment.
• Conduct regular security inspections, patrols and risk assessments to identify and address security risks.
• Coordinate responses to security incidents, emergencies, accidents and other critical situations in accordance with established procedures.
• Investigate security incidents and prepare accurate reports and relevant documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies, procedures, Malaysian laws and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments, tenants, contractors and relevant enforcement agencies on security matters.
• Assist in security drills, training, briefings and emergency preparedness activities.
• Maintain good relationships with tenants and stakeholders while ensuring a high standard of security and customer service.
• Support continuous improvement of security processes, systems and operational standards.
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the Security Manager or Company from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian laws and regulations related to security and safety.
• Minimum Diploma in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant security experience, preferably with supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience in physical security operations, incident management, emergency response and security systems.
• Relevant security certifications or practising licences would be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, handle emergencies and perform under pressure.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
• High level of professionalism, accountability, integrity and attention to detail.
