Executive/ Senior Executive (GST)

Role and responsibilities

Manage day-to-day GST compliance, including timely filing of GST returns, reconciliations, GST payments, and input tax credit (ITC) reconciliations.

Ensure timely and accurate accounting of GST Payable/Input tax credits, RCM, ISD, tax related provisions/ accruals, etc.

Assists in day-to-day functioning of the tax and regulatory function within the finance team and work closely with the accounting team.

Assisting in financial /tax/regulatory diligence/ audit by third parties

Self-Invoicing under RCM

Input Service Distributor (ISD) & Taxation:

• Configure and implement ISD functionality in SAP FI to distribute Input Tax Credit (ITC) across business units.
• Define distribution rules and allocation methods for ITC based on business requirements.
• Ensure correct GST accounting for ISD transactions, including CGST, SGST, and IGST adjustments.
• Automate tax posting and distribution processes for ISD invoices.
• Reconcile ISD credits with GST returns and ensure compliance with tax audits.

General SAP FI & GST Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP GST & ISD configuration, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
• Collaborate with MM, SD, and ABAP teams to ensure seamless integration of GST taxation, self-invoicing, and ISD processes.
• Conduct Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for GST functionalities.

Eligibility criteria-

Should have in-depth knowledge of SAP

Should have in-depth knowledge of Indirect taxes.
