Executive / Senior Executive - Legal

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, committed, and detail-oriented legal professional to join our Legal team as an Executive / Senior Executive - Legal. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience with a reputed real estate developer/builder and possess strong knowledge of real estate laws, property transactions, documentation, and regulatory compliances.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal due diligence for land acquisition, development, and property transactions.
• Draft, review, vet, and coordinate execution of Agreements, Sale Deeds, MOUs, JDAs, POAs, Lease Deeds, Development Agreements, and other property-related documents.
• Handle property-related litigation and non-litigation matters in coordination with external advocates and legal consultants.
• Ensure RERA compliance and coordinate with relevant government and regulatory authorities.(Optional)
• Liaise with advocates, bank panel lawyers, consultants, revenue authorities, and other external stakeholders.
• Handle property registrations, stamp duty matters, and related statutory documentation.
• Coordinate with revenue authorities and government departments for land records, property documentation, permissions, and other legal matters.
• Review property and transaction-related documents to identify potential legal risks and ensure appropriate mitigation.
• Maintain and organize legal records, agreements, approvals, and other relevant documentation.
• Provide legal support and guidance to internal teams on real estate transactions and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely closure of assigned legal matters while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• L.L.B. degree from a recognized university/institution.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the Real Estate industry, preferably with a reputed developer/builder.
• Strong working knowledge of major laws applicable to the real estate sector, including Property, Revenue, Registration, Municipal, RERA, Stamp Duty, and related laws/regulations.
• Strong legal drafting, documentation, and vetting skills.
• Good command of English and Marathi, particularly for legal documentation and communication.
• Hands-on experience in dealing with revenue authorities, land records, registration offices, and government departments.
• Good understanding of real estate transactions, land documentation, and regulatory processes.
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to independently manage assigned responsibilities while effectively coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
