Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team. This role involves managing kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. The Executive Sous Chef will play a key role in supporting the head chef, leading culinary teams, and ensuring successful execution of catering and banquet events. This is a contract gig opportunity, offering flexibility to select events based on your availability and expertise.

Duties

• Manage and lead culinary teams to ensure efficient kitchen operations and high-quality food production.
• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and excellence in every dish.
• Implement and enforce food safety and sanitizing procedures to comply with health regulations.
• Flexibe sign up for catering or banquet events as per your schedule, with potential for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing culinary teams as a chef, with strong leadership skills.
• Catering or banquet experience is highly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of food safety standards and sanitizing procedures.
• Hands-on experience in food preparation and cooking at a professional level.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and event staff.
• Flexibility to participate in various catering or banquet events on a contract basis.

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
