Education

• Bachelor/Honors

Experience

• 3 to 7 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Chemical Industries, Plastic/ Polymer Industry

Additional Requirements

• Strong knowledge of vehicle and fleet management.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan routes and manage transportation schedules.
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and email communication.

Responsibilities & Context

• To manage daily transport operations and vehicle schedules.
• To communicate with vendor for distribution vehicle hire.
• To ensure vehicles are properly maintained, serviced and available when required.
• To monitor fuel consumption, mileage, maintenance and other vehicle-related expenses.
• To maintain accurate records of vehicles, drivers, fuel, repairs, insurance and licenses.
• To ensure all vehicles comply with legal and organizational safety requirements.
• To supervise drivers and monitor their attendance, performance and discipline.
• To handle vehicle accidents, breakdowns and other transportation-related incidents.
• To coordinate with workshops, garages, vendors and relevant authorities.
• To prepare regular transport reports and provide recommendations for improving efficiency.
• To perform any other transport-related duties assigned by management.
