Executive / Sr. Executive - Warehouse

Job Purpose

To ensure safe and efficient unloading, storage, movement, inventory management, and documentation of solvents in compliance with company SOPs, SAP processes, and applicable safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe unloading of solvent road tankers and transfer of solvents to production as per SOPs.
• Verify material documents against purchase orders and process GRNs and document uploads in SAP.
• Maintain inward registers, inventory cards, and daily/monthly solvent stock records.
• Perform physical stock verification against SAP records and inspect storage tanks and PESO tank farm areas.
• Road Tankers Sampling arrangement to QCD for testing.
• Stocks Reconciliation (Physical vs SAP).
• Updation of Re-test materials record and as per re-test schedule.
• Strictly follow safety SOPs, work permit procedures, and assist in preparing risk assessments and PSSRs.
• Raise job orders in SAP for other departments and coordinate for timely execution.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, EHS, Purchase, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of solvent handling, storage, and inventory control.
• Working knowledge of SAP, GRN processing, and material documentation.
• Understanding of industrial safety procedures and work permit systems.
• Strong coordination, record-keeping, and communication skills.
• Commitment to SOP compliance and safe working practices.

Qualification: B.Com / B.Sc. Chemistry and preferable Material management

Experience: 6 - 12 years of relevant experience in solvent handling, tank farm operations, stores, or chemical manufacturing.
