Roles and Responsibilities

• Execute all regular purchasing and administrative duties with competent quality, maintaining complete and up-to-date purchasing records, pricing, and data in the system for the TATA Commercial Vehicles warehouse.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and related documents as per company policies; source, select, and negotiate with suppliers and sub-contractors for the best quality, price, terms, delivery, and service; plan and manage inventory levels, ensure adequate stock insurance, and source new parts or vendors as needed.
• Coordinate with user departments, suppliers, logistics, and stores to monitor deliveries and ensure on-time receipt at site/store; handle and track claims for defectives, shortages, and missing parts with factories and vendors, and support project-assigned purchasing activities with timely reporting and follow-up.
