What they need
- Manage tactical purchasing activities for maintenance, technical services, facilities, equipment, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate Request for Quotation (RFQ), quotation, and tender exercises from sourcing through to award.
- Source and evaluate suitable suppliers and service providers based on price, quality, technical capability, service level, and delivery requirements.
- Prepare quotation comparisons, commercial evaluations, tender recommendations, and procurement documentation.
- Conduct commercial negotiations on pricing, payment terms, warranty, service scope, lead time, and contractual conditions.
- Work closely with Maintenance, Operations, Production, Finance, and other departments to understand and fulfil procurement requirements.
- Support procurement for maintenance works, equipment servicing, spare parts, repair works, technical services, and facilities-related requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance, including delivery, service quality, responsiveness, pricing, and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, cost optimisation, and process improvement.
- Ensure all purchasing and tender activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, approval requirements, and procurement guidelines.
- Maintain complete and accurate procurement records for audit, compliance, and management review.
- Assist in vendor evaluation, negotiation, contract renewal, and supplier performance management.
- Perform other procurement-related duties as assigned by the management.
