Executive - TCS/TCSS (Engineer)

Scope and Responsibilities

Execute and follow through the new development and project in terms of completion date, system evaluation, cost analysis, system deployment, system testing, system performance & improvement, system upgrading and effectiveness in achieving the division and Company’s Vision & Mission.

Key Responsibilities

• To implement, manage and complete the system evaluation and upgrading as per annual plan and budget in ensuring the Toll Highway Operation runs efficiently.

• Assist and support subsidiaries team for TCS & TCSS in ensuring the performance and system uptime as per the Toll Operation Requirements.

• Review the effectiveness of the TCS & TCSS system maintenance SOP(s) for the continuous improvement and “up to date” technology, system, security and process requirement.

• Execute and follow through the system evaluation, upgrading & new project related with TCS, TCSS & Network for PROLINTAS Highways.

• Manage, Review and follow through the implementation of TCS, TCSS and Network System for the operating highways   under PROLINTAS Group in ensuring compliance to the Specifications & Requirements.

• Monitor, Periodic Assessment, analyze the system (inclusive the computer hardware, IOS, security and software applications) compatibility & obsolescence, benchmark with the latest technology and propose with strategic improvement & budgetary.

• Cooperate with internal & external parties to achieve mutual goal in ensuring toll Operation is not interrupted with very minimal downtime.

• Assist HOD and HODiv to foster Liaison with external authorities and other corporate entities to represent PROLINTAS Group Companies in relation to Highway System Technology.

• Assist HOD and HODiv to formulate and streamline the overall department/division functions & responsibilities by aligning the department/unit scope of works and job functions to ensure better performance and efficiency.

• Assist HODiv to manage the annual budget is utilized as per plan & plan for staff competencies improvement and carrier development plan for high-performance staff.

• To comply with all PROLINTAS’s ISO Management Systems, integrity and legal requirements all the times.

Qualifications:

At Least Degree In Computer Science, or Electronics or Mechatronics, or Degree related with Information Technology.

Skills Required:

• People Management, Project Management, Coaching Skill, Problem Analysis & Solving Skill, Communication Skill, Computer Skill, & Customer Focus Orientation.
• The Programming, Database, Network and IT Security Knowledge are additional advantages.

Experience:

At least 3 Years in System Support & Maintenance, Project Implementation & Management, and have a Good Knowledge in Payment System especially Toll Collection System, Highway Surveillance system, Highway Network and IT Security. Experience in IT, Network & Database knowledge are additional advantages.
