What they need

About the role

Strength By Women is building an evidence-led exercise physiology clinic for women aged 35 to 65, specialising in perimenopause and menopause, bone density, pregnancy and postpartum, and return to training. As Senior Exercise Physiologist, you will carry a full caseload across our programs, run initial assessments and follow-up sessions, and work directly with founders on clinic scaling and development.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry a full caseload across our programs: Foundations of Strength, Menopause, Bone Density, and Pregnancy and Postpartum
  • Run initial assessments and 45 minute follow-ups, one to one, and semi-private (1:3) sessions as clients move into ongoing training
  • Prescribe strength training for midlife women, from the first session under load to training at high intensity, using our three-phase Roadmap of Strength
  • Mentor junior exercise physiologists and help design the program they come through
  • Bring your clinical brain to client education, community events and published content
  • Keep proper notes and write to GPs and specialists
  • Work directly with the founders on how we scale, including the second location

About you

  • Accredited Exercise Physiologist with ESSA, three or more years post-accreditation
  • Strength training is your first language, with ability to program progressive overload and understand the research
  • Experience in women's health (menopause, bone health, pregnancy and postpartum) is highly regarded, with real curiosity about it essential
  • Comfortable with Medicare Chronic Condition Management referrals, private health fund billing and writing to referrers
  • Able to explain your reasoning to a client who has read the research
  • You've mentored other clinicians, or you've been waiting for someone to let you
  • You care how a woman feels walking in, and walking out
  • Current First Aid and CPR, eligible for a Medicare provider number, full Australian working rights

About us

We're building the women's exercise physiology clinic we think North Sydney has been missing. Evidence-led strength training for women aged 35 to 65, at the points in life where it matters most: perimenopause and menopause, bone density, pregnancy and postpartum, and the return to training after years away. We opened in the North Shore in 2025. The goal is to be the leading women's exercise physiology clinic in North Sydney. We'll give you a caseload, a room, and a seat at the table where the business gets decided.

Benefits

  • Receive a $1,000/year Clinical Interest Allowance to dive deeper into the specialties you love (like pre/postnatal care or menopause management).
  • Full time, 38 hours, in a leafy peninsula suburb on the Lane Cove River
  • Clinical one-to-one and semi-private work, no gym floor
  • A direct line to the founders and real say in the second clinic and the online service
