What they need

Exercise Physiologist - Royal Park & Para Hills

Pay: $70,000-$89,000 per year
Job type: Full-time, permanent

Your next role should give you the opportunity to become a better clinician, build a caseload you enjoy and see a future for yourself within the team.

We’re looking for an Exercise Physiologist to work across our Royal Park and Para Hills clinics, with access to experienced clinicians, structured mentoring and a leadership team investing in staff development.

Whether you’re building confidence as a new graduate or looking for more opportunity in your next position, we want to hear what matters to you and where you want your career to go.

About the role

You’ll deliver individual Exercise Physiology services in well-equipped clinic gyms, supporting people with chronic conditions, injuries and complex health needs, including veterans.

Working across two clinics gives you the opportunity to learn from different clinicians and build relationships within our wider multidisciplinary team of Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers and Dietitians.

Our Para Hills clinic includes a large gym and six consulting rooms, providing space for exercise rehabilitation and collaboration with other disciplines.

The support behind you

We’ve invested in dedicated roles across clinical development, education and community engagement so our clinicians have practical support as they develop.

  • Regular individual mentoring: Dedicated time with an experienced EP to discuss cases, ask questions and strengthen your clinical reasoning.
  • Clinical feedback and development: Our Development & Quality role supports regular feedback and clinician development, with a senior EP presence at Para Hills.
  • Individual development plans: Structured conversations about your progress, goals and the skills you want to build.
  • Fortnightly team professional development: Sessions covering clinical skills, case discussions, communication and the challenges that come up in practice.
  • Dedicated education workshops: In hours workshops eveyr 6 weeks within our PD program to build skills and share knowledge across the team.
  • Professional presenters: 2 full-days of professional presenteres each year
  • Funding model support: Access to internal knowledge and training across DVA, NDIS and Return to Work, helping you navigate requirements with confidence.
  • Support to build your preferred caseload: Our Growth & Engagement role helps coordinate community outreach and referral relationships, with the aim of attracting more of the clients you want to work with over time.
  • Dedicated administration support: Assistance with enquiries, bookings and invoicing, including in-house admin at Para Hills.
  • Access to leadership: Direct access to senior clinicians and General Manager for support, feedback and discussions about your future.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering personalised assessments and exercise programs that help clients achieve meaningful goals.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and their wider care teams.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to case discussions.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and meeting professional and funding requirements.
  • Taking an active role in your own development and the wider team.

What we’re looking for

  • ESSA accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, or eligibility on graduation.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • A thoughtful, client-centred approach to care.
  • Someone who welcomes feedback, takes responsibility and contributes to the team.

You don’t need to arrive knowing everything. We’re looking for someone who wants to keep improving and will make the most of the support available.

What else is included?

  • Salary of $70,000-$89,000, based on experience.
  • Performance bonus opportunities.
  • No weekend work.
  • Free gym access on-site.
  • Opportunities to develop your leadership responsibilities as your skills and the business grow.
