Contractor Exercise Physiologist – Over 55's Program

We’re looking for a contractor Exercise Physiologist to support Forever Strong, our strength training program for adults aged 55 and over.

Members begin with a one-on-one assessment and an individual program, then train in semi-private sessions with a coach and up to six members.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct a 60-minute induction and assessment with each new member.
• Spend an additional 30 minutes building their program, using the templates we’ve already developed and tailoring them to their goals, ability and assessment findings.
• Conduct 30-minute reassessments every 12 weeks and update programs as needed.
• Communicate with our coaching team so each program works well in the semi-private setting.

Inductions and reassessments are currently booked every second Saturday. Based on current lead flow, we expect around four to six new members per fortnight, though hours will vary with sign-ups. Each new member allows 90 minutes of paid time in total: 60 minutes for the induction and 30 minutes for programming.

We’re looking for an EP with some experience working with older adults and designing gym-based strength programs. This could suit someone relatively early in their career, particularly if they’ve worked in a boutique training environment.

There’s room for the role to grow as Forever Strong expands as well as our "All Abilities" program launching in 2027. First step of growth would be weekly Saturday opportunities & then part-time/full-time opportunities.

Contractor rate will vary based on experience, but we are looking between 70–$100 per hour.
