Job Description:

E3 XPS is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Exhibit Experience Technician to join our growing service team — ideal for driven individuals who are ready to invest in a skilled trade and advance within a dynamic, client-focused company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in details, and wants to be part of the action behind trade shows and live event environments. At E3 XPS, you’ll be building world-class trade show exhibits!

Exhibit Experience Technicians perform multiple labor tasks including shipment receiving/unpacking, shipment preparation, warehouse organizing/cleaning, and exhibit setup/teardown. The service department handles client exhibit management, shipping, repairs and booth setups. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical mind, be very organized, and have high attention to detail. We’re looking for sharp, driven people who are ready to work hard, grow, and build something they’re proud of. If you’re ambitious, dependable, and eager to prove yourself — we want to meet you!

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and take down trade show exhibits
  • Prepare outgoing and incoming trade show exhibits
  • Check-in shipments and verify inventory part counts against packing lists
  • Local installation and dismantle of exhibits
  • Pull rental parts from warehouse
  • Travel to shows with clients as needed to supervise exhibit setup
  • Warehouse cleaning and organization
  • General repair work on trade show exhibits
  • Other service department duties as requested

What We’re Looking For:

  • Positive attitude and team-first mindset
  • High achievers — people who take pride in doing things right the first time
  • Hard workers with a strong work ethic who move with urgency
  • Mechanically minded with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable and responsible — our clients and teammates count on you
  • Physically capable: able to lift up to 70 lbs. and be on your feet for long shifts
  • Basic computer and typing skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Why This Role Is Exciting:

This is a hands-on role with real variety. One day you may be organizing and prepping exhibits in the warehouse. The next, you may be on a show floor helping bring a client’s exhibit to life.

Trade shows happen in the most exciting cities in the U.S., and our team is there for them. As an Exhibit Experience Technician, you may have the opportunity to travel to destinations like:

  • Las Vegas, NV — home to some of the largest trade shows in the world
  • Orlando, FL — convention capital of the Southeast
  • Chicago, IL — McCormick Place, the biggest convention center in North America
  • Phoenix, AZ — a year-round hub for major industry events
  • And major other major convention cities across the U.S.

If you enjoy fast-paced work, new environments, and being part of a team that makes things happen, this role delivers that experience.

A Real Career Path at E3 XPS

This role is more than an entry point. It can be the beginning of a long-term career with E3 XPS. A common path can look like this:

Exhibit Experience Technician:

  • Start by learning the fundamentals of exhibit handling. Assisting with booth setup and teardown, packing/shipping, basic electrical & AV connections, and show floor procedures.

Exhibit Experience Technician II:

  • As you grow in experience and leadership, you can move into a field leadership role traveling to shows, supervising installs, supporting clients, and leading crews on-site. Responsibilities include independent booth installation and dismantling, crew supervision, AV, lighting and electrical setup, client interaction, and troubleshooting.

Senior Exhibit Experience Technician:

  • Senior level responsibilities include mastery of exhibit craftsmanship, leading a crew of technicians, managing booth installations from start to finish, coordinating with show management/services as necessary, quality control and safety, overseeing multiple crews and booths simultaneously, and interfacing with clients and management.

Other Growth Opportunities: Team members who prove themselves can have opportunities to grow into positions such as:

  • CAD
  • Estimator
  • Project Coordinator

For the right person, this role can open the door to a long-term future in operations, project support, design support, and event execution.

Why Join E3 XPS

At E3 XPS, you will be part of a team that works hard, moves fast, and takes pride in delivering high-level experiences for clients. We value people who show up with energy, ownership, and a willingness to grow. If you’re ready to outwork the competition and build a career worth talking about, we’re ready for you!
