Exhibit Tech
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Support the maintenance of the Museum’s exhibit spaces, including repairs, painting, cleaning, and related tasks.
Manage the filing of vendor and maintenance records as well as other exhibit-related materials.
Participate in the start-up and shut-down procedures of the Museum’s exhibits.
Handle the purchase of exhibit supplies and parts while maintaining inventory control.
Contribute to the development of new exhibits.
Take part in the setup and breakdown of permanent and temporary exhibits.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
3 + years of related experience.
Sound verbal and writing skills, Organizational skills.
Basic understanding of shop related duties (Carpentry, Electronics, and Power Tools).
Basic understanding of Computers and Audio and Visual Equipment.
