Existing Product Research Development (EPRD) Head

• Develop and manage existing product improvement strategies based on business needs, market feedback, quality issues, customer complaints, cost optimization, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Lead technical problem-solving and troubleshooting related to product quality and manufacturing processes, including corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives through reformulation, alternative raw materials, sourcing strategies, and process efficiency while maintaining product quality.
• Oversee shelf-life, stability, and product consistency evaluations, as well as competitor and market trend analysis.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, Engineering, SCM, and suppliers to implement product and process improvements.
• Ensure changes in formulation, raw materials, packaging, and processes comply with regulatory, halal, food safety, and customer requirements.
• Manage technical documentation and reports related to trials, formulations, specifications, and product development.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Agricultural Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Food R&D, particularly in existing product improvement, process troubleshooting, and team management.
• Strong knowledge of food R&D, dairy/processed food, manufacturing processes, product functionality, and shelf-life evaluation.
• Knowledge of HACCP, ISO/FSSC 22000, BPOM, halal, and food labeling regulations.
• Strong technical problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with good English communication skills.
