Duties

• Provide personalized consultations to customers, explaining product features, effects, and usage tips for exotic cannabis strains and accessories
• Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items, enhancing customer experience and sales opportunities
• Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and register operations
• Stock shelves, merchandise products attractively, and maintain a clean, organized store environment aligned with brand standards
• Upsell complementary products by understanding customer needs and offering tailored recommendations to maximize satisfaction and sales
• Handle cash drawer operations responsibly, including cash handling, balancing registers, and maintaining accurate retail math records
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of store products, including cannabis strains, accessories, and related merchandise, to answer customer inquiries confidently

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience in grocery stores or similar environments is preferred; strong familiarity with merchandising and stock management is a plus
• Supervising experience in retail or hospitality settings is advantageous for leadership opportunities
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Excellent communication skills with phone etiquette proficiency to assist customers both in-store and over the phone
• Demonstrated ability in retail sales techniques such as upselling and product demos to enhance customer engagement
• Basic math skills for cash register operations, retail transactions, and cash drawer balancing
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly attitude; ability to handle inquiries professionally and courteously
• Knowledge of cannabis products or prior grocery store experience is beneficial; willingness to learn about retail store product knowledge and merchandising standards
