Exp Quality Eng Technician (Temporary)

As an Exp Quality Eng Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting our fire safety business unit by ensuring the highest quality standards in our products and processes. You will apply your expertise to maintain and improve quality assurance practices, helping to protect lives and property through reliable fire detection and response solutions.

You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Juarez, Mexico location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the safety and satisfaction of our customers by ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving continuous quality improvements in our fire and life safety products and systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections and tests to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
• Identify and document quality issues and collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering or quality technician roles, preferably in manufacturing or fire safety industries.
• Strong knowledge of quality control processes, inspection techniques, and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency with quality management systems and tools such as SPC, FMEA, and audit procedures to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Experience using measurement and testing equipment relevant to product quality verification.

WE VALUE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Advanced degrees in Engineering or Quality Management.
• Experience with fire safety products or related regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
