What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate:

• Has 1–2 years of dental office experience (pediatric experience a plus)
• Friendly, flexible, and adaptable personality
• Communicates effectively with both children and adults
• Values building long-term relationships with patients, parents, and coworkers
• Enjoys helping children feel comfortable, safe, and cared for
• Spanish-speaking or bilingual skills are a plus
• Knowledge of Open Dental is a bonus

About the Role

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Coronal polishing on primary teeth
• Placing preventative sealants
• Assisting the dentist during procedures
• Sterilizing instruments
• Setting up and breaking down rooms
• Taking radiographs
• Helping children feel safe and comfortable during treatment
• Explaining treatment plans to parents
• Entering treatment notes and charting in the computer
• Taking inventory of supplies
• General office housekeeping as needed
