We are seeking an experienced breakfast chef for new opening cafe called CAFE SCRAN in Kirkintilloch! This lively role is perfect for a passionate professional who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and loves creating delicious, high-quality breakfast dishes. As the breakfast chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of breakfast options that delight our guests and set the tone for their day. Your culinary expertise, attention to food safety, and ability to work efficiently under pressure will be key to your success in this vibrant setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a diverse range of breakfast dishes with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Manage food preparation stations, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and ready for service.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy morning hours.
• Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests, providing excellent customer experience.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked throughout your shift to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong culinary skills with a focus on breakfast or brunch dishes.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
• Previous kitchen experience working in a fast-paced setting is highly desirable.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Serving experience is a plus, along with a positive attitude and team spirit.
