Overview :

• 1099 Independent Contractor

• Own vehicle: Mini Van, Pick Up Truck or SUV (any color)

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting coaxial and fiber optic networks to ensure seamless connectivity for residential and commercial customers. Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain coaxial cables, fiber optics, and related telecommunications equipment in residential and commercial settings
• Use hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, and power tools to assemble and secure cabling systems accurately
• Operate company vehicles safely while traveling to various job sites for field service assignments
• Perform equipment testing using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure network integrity
• Conduct cable splicing, fiber termination, and troubleshooting of network issues to restore optimal service quickly
• Install satellite dishes, Ethernet cabling, telephony lines, and other telecommunications hardware in diverse environments
• Follow safety protocols when working with electrical systems and outdoor infrastructure to prevent accidents or damage

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a telecommunications infrastructure technician or similar field service role involving network installation and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including Ethernet, telephony systems, and fiber optic technology
• Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wire strippers, wire crimpers, cable testers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and power tools
• Experience with cable installation methods including telecommunications network cable installation and residential telecommunications setup
• Ability to operate ladders safely and efficiently for outdoor work environments
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach when interacting with clients during installations or troubleshooting
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles responsibly
