Experience Dog Handler

Gentle Canines is a daycare & boarding place in Upper Thomson that provides high quality care services in all areas for your furry pet companions. We are currently expanding our team to cater for the needs of our customers.

Opportunities & Role:

As an experience day care dog handler, you would be expected to work independently along side with a team to ensure the safety, overall well being of the dogs under our care at all times. You would be required to be physically fit in general as you will need to walk the dogs (1 by 1), have indoor activities/ enrichments with the dogs and also outdoor excursions at time. You should have basic handling skills of dogs and please indicate your experience when applying to be contacted.

Individuals who are keen to join us must enjoy working with and to care for dogs, willing to go the extra mile to help the dogs and team & to be able to work flexible hours for weekday and weekend. Schedules can be arranged and shift is required for this job. This job requires you to be in the shop at all times during your shift and we are open from 630am to 10pm daily.

There would be other aspect like cleaning up after the dogs, keeping the shop clean and safe, some admin work which we will need to update customers.

A trial session of 2-3hours will be required as part of the interview.

Pay: $10.50 - $13.00 per hour
