Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook/Wok Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong understanding of food handling practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking by washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
• Cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques at all times.
• Assist in menu planning and meal preparation for catering events or special occasions.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
• Follow all dietary department protocols when preparing meals for specific dietary needs.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in roles such as line cook or prep cook.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including knives and cooking appliances.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation.
• Experience working in catering or large-scale meal preparation is a plus.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a busy kitchen environment.
