In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive service, expert beverage and food recommendations, and creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a memorable first impression
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Manage tables effectively by coordinating with kitchen staff for food preparation and ensuring timely service
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and beverage service procedures

Skills

• Proven experience in food service roles, including fine dining, nightclub, or casual restaurant settings
• Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order entry and sales processing
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Experience with serving guests in high-volume environments while maintaining professionalism
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
