Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Experience Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for maintenance and repairs. You will coordinate between customers, technicians, and parts departments to deliver exceptional service, all while maintaining a lively and motivating work environment. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
• Clearly explain recommended services, estimates, and repair options using estimating software and technical knowledge
• Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle diagnostics and client needs to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
• Write detailed service orders, ensuring accuracy in descriptions of work requested and performed
• Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and communicate updates to clients effectively
• Conduct vehicle inspections including oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension checks, alignments, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repairs
• Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent client communication throughout the service process

Skills

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or Service Writer within an automotive dealership or repair shop
• Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance practices
• Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and professionally
• Ability to upsell additional services through effective client communication and automotive expertise
• Hands-on experience with auto estimating, collision repair processes, and automotive service management
• Knowledge of auto service procedures including oil changes, tire services, alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, shocks & struts, transmissions, and oil changes
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive various vehicles safely
• Cash handling skills combined with sales acumen to promote services confidently
