Experience Veterinary Receptionist

Job Summary

As an Experience Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll keep the clinic’s front desk moving while helping clients and veterinary teams navigate each visit with care and clarity. You’ll coordinate appointments, support veterinary administrative tasks, communicate with clients, and assist with animal care as needed. Your experience helps create a calm, organized experience for pets, clients, and clinical staff.

Your impact: By coordinating clear client communication and timely front-desk support, you help clients understand next steps and enable the veterinary team to focus on patient care.

Duties

• Welcome clients with a smile, manage check-in and scheduling, answer questions, and provide customer service in person and through clinic communication channels.
• Maintain records and appointments using Cornerstone. Provide veterinary administrative support and handle medical collection tasks according to clinic procedures.
• Required: Veterinary, veterinary clinic, or front desk experience; strong client communication; familiarity with veterinary terminology and veterinary software.
• Answer and triage multi phone calls from clients.
• Relay appropriate information to and from clients to doctors.
• Client call backs
• Understand vaccinations, basic lab test, common diseases, and pet behavior

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 38.0 per week
