Experience waiter

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced waiter to join our growing team here at Los Reyes!

We are a vibrant tapas restaurant in the heart of Hitchin and have recently been taken over by new management and are subsequently looking to grow our team!

As an integral part of our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive service, sharing your growing food knowledge, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. We are looking for energetic and dedicated staff and this is rewarded by daily incentives and competitions as well as regular trainings on site and staff socials.

Duties

• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
• Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any special requests or concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized service station and dining area throughout your shift
• Be an all rounder and a positive addition to the team

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a waiter or in a similar hospitality role, preferably in a restaurant setting
• Strong knowledge of hospitality principles, including guest services, serving techniques, and food safety standards
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service periods efficiently
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing and order calculations
• Familiarity with spanish tapas is advantageous
• Exceptional communication skills with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
