Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service in a fast-paced environment
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while handling cash register operations with precision
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including food handling and kitchen support when needed
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting host/hostess duties to ensure smooth service flow
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and manage guest flow during busy weekdays

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in diverse hospitality environments
• Effective communication skills to engage with guests and team members professionally
