Experienced 1099 Low Voltage Subcontractor / Technician (Part-Time)

All-Pro Installs is a professional low-voltage contracting company serving Oregon, Washington, and clients nationwide. Since 2013, we’ve completed hundreds of projects in commercial, industrial, retail, and healthcare environments. We specialize in structured cabling, network infrastructure, CCTV, access control, and technology system installations.

We’re seeking an experienced low-voltage subcontractor. This is a 1099 part-time role with the potential to grow into a full-time, long-term position as we scale our operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, termination, and testing of Cat5e, Cat6, and other low-voltage systems
• Install and configure POS systems, CCTV cameras, access control systems, and related equipment
• Conduct troubleshooting, repairs, and service calls with minimal supervision
• Read blueprints, plans, and technical drawings to execute installations
• Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate progress daily
• Ensure all work meets safety, code, and client quality standards
• Supervise or mentor junior technicians on project sites as needed

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in low-voltage systems installation or equivalent electrical trade
• Strong understanding of structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA, NEC, etc.)
• Experience with Cat6, network configuration, and CCTV systems
• Must have own tools, transportation, and valid business license (for 1099 subcontractors)
• Certifications preferred: BICSI, OSHA-10/30, or manufacturer-specific credentials
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

Compensation

• $35–$60/hour, depending on experience and project scope
