About the Position

The Rodeheaver Group is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting our clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and general ledger accounts.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, as applicable.
• Assist clients with bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting needs.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, A&A work and tax regulations.
• Communicate with clients to obtain information and resolve accounting questions.
• Assist with other accounting and tax-related projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous professional accounting experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• CPA license or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.
