Experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper

Calida is a boutique commercial construction company specialising in high-end retail, hospitality and commercial projects across Sydney.

We are seeking an experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our Rosebery office on a temporary full-time basis from late October 2026 to the end of February 2027, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping/accounting experience and be confident working across MYOB and Vista.

The Role:

• Bank reconciliations and maintenance of financial records
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Monthly payroll processing
• Monthly cash flow management and cost reporting
• Maintain debtors, bonds, bank guarantees, retentions and deposit schedules
• General Ledger, journal entries and Trial Balance
• Prepare financial summaries, balance sheets and cash flow reports
• Consolidate project cost reports
• Liaise with suppliers, project teams and external accountants
• Prepare financial reports for Directors and the leadership team

About You:

• Experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper with strong all-round accounting knowledge
• Strong experience using MYOB, with Vista experience highly regarded
• Experience across payroll, AP/AR, reconciliations and financial reporting
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Construction industry experience advantageous
