Experienced Airbnb & Holiday Rental Cleaner – Casual

Hostie Properties is looking for an experienced, reliable cleaner to join our growing team, servicing beautiful Airbnb and holiday rental properties across the Tweed Coast.

We’re looking for someone who already knows how to clean to a high professional standard and is confident working independently.

This role is about more than simply completing a cleaning checklist. We need someone with a great eye for detail who can walk into a property, know what needs to be done and take pride in leaving the home beautifully presented and completely guest-ready.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for preparing holiday homes between guest stays, including:

• Full Airbnb and holiday rental turnover cleaning
• Making and presenting beds to a high standard
• Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
• Checking the entire property before leaving
• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues or damage
• Noticing stains, missing items or anything that doesn't look right
• Checking and restocking guest supplies
• Identifying when additional or deeper cleaning is required
• Taking photos and communicating issues with our management team
• Ensuring every property is beautifully presented and ready for arriving guests

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous professional cleaning experience
• Ideally has Airbnb, holiday rental, hotel or accommodation cleaning experience
• Can confidently work independently without constant supervision
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Works efficiently without compromising cleaning standards
• Is reliable, organised and takes responsibility for their work
• Is proactive and notices problems rather than simply cleaning around them
• Can follow property-specific cleaning and presentation instructions
• Communicates well with our management team
• Is physically capable of cleaning and making beds throughout a shift
• Has a current driver's licence and reliable vehicle

Hours

This is a casual position, with approximately 20–25 hours available per week, depending on bookings.

All work is completed during the day, with shifts scheduled around guest departures and upcoming arrivals.

As holiday accommodation operates seven days a week, availability across different days of the week is important.
